Welcome to Keep Rolling Cycling Services and thanks for taking the time to look at my website.

Paul standing in front of van I have been passionate about cycles and cycling for as long as I can remember and I have been repairing and upgrading them for at least 15 years. My real passion is in mountain biking but I enjoy riding and working on anything with two wheels.

Prior to starting Keep Rolling Cycling Services, I have spent 30 years in both manufacturing and research and development, including quality and project management, and I have spent many years coaching and mentoring individuals and teams. I have always enjoyed fixing things and helping people out. My working experience has helped me understand the importance in providing excellent customer service and I take a great deal of pride in delivering the best service and value for money that I possibly can. I really believe that every customer should be treated as an individual and their needs clearly understood and met in full.

Paul at 10 under the Ben.

For the last 5 years, I have been a qualified UKCC cycling coach and MTB coach along with being a qualified MBLA trail leader (level 2 mountain bike leader). I really enjoy helping people to develop as a cyclist and importantly, for them to really enjoy their cycling too. Through my coaching activities and being a passionate bike rider myself, I have spent a lot of time repairing my own and other people’s bikes, both in my workshop and on the trails and roads. I decided to turn my passion for repairing and upgrading bikes and coaching others into a business and I obtained one of the bicycle industry’s most respected qualifications, Cytech Technical 2 and 3 bicycle maintenance, to supplement my coaching qualifications.

I’m happy to work with all kinds of cycles, whether it is somebody wanting to dust down a cycle to start to enjoy cycling again, or working with groups and organisations to service bicycle fleets. I would also be delighted to provide you with some off-road FUNdamental coaching and advice, whether you are new to cycling or fancy a bit of a confidence boost, from 6 years old to those still young at heart! Whatever your need, please feel free to get in touch for an honest, friendly and quality service.

My mission is simple - to encourage and help people to ride bikes and to feel the benefit of a well serviced bike.

Happy cycling,

Services Offered

Our working hours are flexible and we will always strive to ensure as quick a turnaround time as possible for any cycle maintenance or repairs. We do try and keep our Sundays to ourselves though to get some time to hit the trails!

At Keep Rolling Cycling Services, we can offer basic cycle repairs or full servicing of most types of cycles from balance bikes right through to high performance race machines and the latest stable of technical full suspension mountain bikes. The beauty of our service is that it is mobile, meaning that simple repairs can be made on the customer’s premises or bikes can be collected for maintenance in our workshop and then returned to the customer, for sheer convenience. We fully understand that is it a risk for our customers to temporarily part with their much-loved cycle, so we will always present ID prior to taking your cycle away. All maintenance work is undertaken by an experienced Cytech qualified mechanic, with full public liability insurance.

Our repair rates are very competitive and honest and we are happy to work with individuals or groups and charitable organisations and discounted rates can be negotiated for the latter.

With so many new cycles being bought online these days, why not get us to build your "Flat pack" bike up for you to ensure that it is working safely and as it was intended.

If you are a company who are encouraging your employees to cycle to work, why not also offer a maintenance package to them to keep those new bikes in shape. We can also offer professional, efficient and cost effective maintenance of fleets of cycles for hire companies etc. Contact Us to discuss your requirements.

If you are holding an event, we can offer a convenient service to maintain or repair the cycles of the attendees on site, which is always highly appreciated by cycle owners. This is especially true should your event be a cycle race. The availability of a cycle mechanic onsite adds that extra professional touch.

Many cyclists are also keen to be able to maintain their own cycles so at Keep Rolling Cycling Services, we can offer one to one or group cycle maintenance training at the customer’s premises. We are happy to meet the varied specific needs that customers may have. We can also offer corporate cycle maintenance days to provide some basic cycle maintenance to employees and in particular to those staff that may be cycle commuters. What a great way to boost staff morale!

If you get into difficulty whilst riding in the South Lanarkshire area, we may be able to provide you with some roadside/ trailside assistance to get your wheels rolling again. Give us a ring to see what we can do.

As well as owning a very well-maintained cycle, why not get some off-road cycling coaching too. Keep Rolling Cycling Services can also offer coaching for an introduction to off-road cycling. The coaching would typically cover the core cycling techniques including:

  • Bike set-up, balance, braking, cornering, pedalling, use of gears, climbing and descending.
  • The coaching would be carried out on flat ground and progress to green or blue graded trails. Those that may benefit can range from someone that may be new to cycling off-road, or might possibly want a bit of a refresher or a confidence boost. Why not make it a family day out too as this would certainly be a great day to remember! The coaching is delivered as a fun, educational and friendly session. All coaching is provided by a fully qualified and experienced UKCC level 2 MTB cycling coach, with full professional and personal liability insurance.
We would be delighted to provide corporate team building days or work with youth groups, charities and educational establishments. Contact us to discuss your individual or group needs.

If you are unsure of what you need, we can offer no obligation advice. Please feel free to get in touch as we are always more than happy to talk to and to help our fellow cyclists. If you think our services would benefit a friend or family member, we also offer gift vouchers to share help out.
